Joining OUR Education Network provides you with one way to transform your school. We are clear that there are many other effective processes being currently used to drive school/nursery improvement. We are happy to exist alongside these other processes.
OUR Education Process is for those who want to take ownership for their own growth. OUR processes are based on a deep faith in the staff and families to design their own ways forward.
By joining OUR Network you will join an international community of educators who share this faith in internally-driven change.
What you get
For the first three years of the process you get:
- Two OUR Network Facilitators who work closely with the school leaders to design the change processes. The facilitators are on site for two days each year to facilitate each phase of the program.
- In effect, Network membership provides your whole school staff development program for three years. It also provides your leadership development program.
- OUR facilitators are personal coaches for the principal/headteacher for three years. This coaching is done in a style, and at a pace, that best suits each school leader.
- Free attendance for up to five staff at the National Leaders’ Day, which is held once per year.
- Six bi-monthly OUR Education Network Newsletters.
- Access to this website and other facilitated networking that you require.
After three years you will have your Shared Vision, your Core Values, and your own Long Term Development Plan that will be two years into implementation. Staff will own the innovations they have designed and are implementing together to achieve the Shared Vision they created at the start of the process.
On graduation from the three-year program you can join OUR Graduate Program.
How to apply
Our emphasis in growth of OUR Education Network is on quality. It is important to us that schools/nurseries invited to join OUR Network are well matched to OUR mental models (values). We want success for everyone involved.
So, anyone interested in joining OUR Network is first encouraged to contact OUR National Coordinators via the website to talk through what is involved:

If both parties are convinced that there is strong alignment then you will be invited to fill out an application to join. There are limited places available each year.
We will be very happy to put potential applicants in touch with school leaders who have been through OUR Education Network Process, or are currently going through OUR Process.
